1. Introduction

QS Assistant Ltd ("QS Assistant", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to making our website, online learning platform and educational services (the "Platform") as accessible and inclusive as reasonably practicable.

We believe that professional education should be available to everyone, regardless of disability, age, technology or individual learning needs.

We are committed to continually improving the accessibility of the Platform and reducing barriers that may prevent users from accessing our educational resources.

QS Assistant aims to provide an online learning experience that is:

Whilst it may not always be possible to make every feature fully accessible immediately, accessibility remains an important consideration whenever new functionality or educational content is developed.

We aim to work towards the principles set out in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, where reasonably practicable for our size, resources and the nature of our educational platform.

These internationally recognised guidelines are intended to ensure that digital content is:

Robust.

We also seek to support our obligations under applicable legislation, including the Equality Act 2010.

4. Accessibility Features

Depending on the content and technology used, the Platform may include accessibility features such as:

clear page headings and logical content structure;

consistent navigation;

readable font sizes;

sufficient colour contrast where reasonably practicable;

keyboard accessibility for standard navigation;

descriptive headings and labels;

accessible forms where reasonably practicable;

compatibility with modern web browsers.

Accessibility improvements are reviewed periodically as the Platform develops.

5. Audio and Educational Content

Many QS Assistant learning modules include professionally narrated educational content.

Audio narration is provided to support users who prefer listening rather than reading.

Where appropriate, educational content may also include:

written text;

diagrams;

illustrations;

graphics;

visual explanations.

Narration is intended to complement—not replace—written educational content.

6. AI-Assisted Production

QS Assistant may use carefully selected digital production technologies, including Gamma for presentation layouts and ElevenLabs for audio narration, to enhance the presentation and accessibility of educational materials.

These technologies assist in the delivery of content only.

All educational content, technical explanations, assessments, learning outcomes and instructional materials remain independently researched, authored, reviewed and approved by QS Assistant Ltd.

7. Browser Compatibility

The Platform is designed to operate with current versions of major web browsers.

Whilst we aim to support a broad range of devices and browsers, functionality may vary depending upon:

browser version;

operating system;

device capabilities;

internet connection;

third-party software.

Users are encouraged to keep their browsers and operating systems up to date to obtain the best experience.

8. Assistive Technology

We aim to ensure that the Platform is compatible, where reasonably practicable, with commonly used assistive technologies.

This may include:

screen readers;

keyboard-only navigation;

browser zoom functionality;

operating system accessibility features;

speech recognition software.

Because assistive technologies vary considerably, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every device or software product.

9. Known Limitations

Despite our commitment to accessibility, some parts of the Platform may not yet achieve the accessibility standard we aspire to.

certain third-party embedded content;

legacy educational materials created before accessibility improvements were implemented;

third-party learning platform functionality beyond our direct control;

external websites linked from the Platform.

We are committed to reviewing and improving these areas where reasonably practicable.

10. Third-Party Services

The Platform relies upon trusted third-party providers including:

Blabber;

Stripe;

Google Analytics;

Gamma;

ElevenLabs; and

other technology providers.

Whilst we carefully select providers, we cannot control the accessibility of third-party services or websites.

Where accessibility issues arise within third-party services, we will endeavour to work with those providers where appropriate or provide reasonable alternatives where practicable.

11. Reporting Accessibility Issues

We welcome feedback regarding the accessibility of the Platform.

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of QS Assistant, please let us know.

When contacting us, it is helpful if you include:

the webpage or feature concerned;

the device you were using;

your browser;

any assistive technology being used;

a description of the issue encountered.

This information assists us in investigating and improving accessibility.

12. Requesting Alternative Formats

Where reasonably practicable, QS Assistant will consider requests to provide information in alternative formats where this assists users in accessing our educational materials.

Depending upon the circumstances, this may include:

alternative text-based information;

clarification of educational content.

Some requests may not be possible due to the nature of the material or intellectual property considerations, but we will always seek to provide a reasonable solution where practicable.
